Who am I?
Hello and thank you for visiting Merchant Mariner Guide. My name is Josh, I am the creator and primary author of all the content found on this blog. I've sailed as a Steward and Chief Cook in the SIU since 2017. I created this blog as a source of information specifically for Merchant Mariners . As it grows I want it to serve the Merchant Mariner community in ways no other resource online does. My personal strengths are in Galley operations and the Culinary Arts. I have enlisted trusted shipmates to verify the information that is outside my area of expertise.
